Canonical is nice enough to publish a series of Google Calendars to the public for Ubuntu. A couple of the more interesting ones can be found at the following.
Ubuntu Fridge Calendar

Ubuntu Release Calendar
http://fridge.ubuntu.com/calendars/ubuntu-release-calendar/
The second one is of particular interest since while Canonical has made it a practice to release the next version of its OS on a rigid interval, the actual release dates aren't always easy to find. This is a nice place to find them as soon as they;re scheduled.
Additionally, the following wiki page identifies the details of the current releases.
